Our Teachers

Our teachers have lifetimes of experience in the healing arts, farming, cultivation, and medicine making. Many are graduates of CHI who just cannot stay away from our dynamic, vibrant, evolving school.

 

Our Philosophy

CHI has an all-inclusive, international and culturally diverse learning environment that fosters a world view. At CHI, our focus on continuing and collaborative learning encourages students to become friends and colleagues. We are all teachers and we are all students. We stay connected and act as resources for each other.

Our Courses

Our courses are designed to teach from the ground up. We begin with basics and progress through advanced classes and apprenticeships. Students can choose classes at their level. The learning environment is creative, gentle and hands-on. Limited class enrollment and multiple guest teachers allow for maximum individual instruction and guidance. Each class is a dynamic event offering the potential to learn about yourself and the world around you. We work overtime to ensure that each class is a life changing experience.

Our Environment

Our main campus is at the beautiful Caretaker’s Garden Sanctuary in Boonville, California. Orchards, streams, herb gardens and altars flow easily around the healing studio, creekside hot tub, kitchen and apothecary. Camping is provided for students and apprentices. Our greater campus includes farms, gardens and apothecaries throughout the Emerald Triangle.
